Our Wallingford-based crews carry the parts and the know-how to get your air moving again today. Emergency dispatch available across Wallingford and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Wallingford have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Wallingford is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Wallingford rooftop unit. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Wallingford properties actually need.
When your Air Conditioning Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Wallingford dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Wallingford homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Wallingford, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
A seasonal tune-up catches the kind of wear that turns into a mid-summer no-cool call. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Wallingford households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
Guarantees only mean something if a company actually honors them, so here's exactly what ours covers.
Details vary by job type and are always shared upfront, never buried in fine print.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
If anything feels off after we leave, one call gets a tech back to your Wallingford address.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Because our trucks are stationed near Wallingford, we're rarely far from your address.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
You make the final call — we just make sure you have the full picture.
Maintenance plan members get priority scheduling and discounted rates.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"Our AC quit on the hottest weekend of the year and they had a tech out within a couple of hours. The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone."
"We've used them for our maintenance plan for two years now and never had a surprise breakdown. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Would recommend to anyone in Wallingford needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"Our restaurant's rooftop unit went down on a Friday night and they had someone out fast. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Would use them again without hesitation."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Wallingford's seasonal swings.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Clearing debris, leaves, and overgrown landscaping away from an outdoor condenser unit gives it room to breathe and keeps it running efficiently. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Wallingford area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Here's a look at the kind of experience that shows up at your door.
Over a decade in residential heating and cooling, with a focus on load calculations and full system replacements.
Known for fast, accurate diagnostics on no-heat and no-cool breakdowns.
Experienced with the light industrial and retail equipment common across the area.
Standard appointments are usually scheduled within 24-48 hours, while true emergencies jump the queue.
We explain the diagnostic fee upfront and provide a flat-rate repair quote once the issue is identified.
We staff after-hours dispatch specifically because HVAC failures rarely happen on a convenient schedule.
Every technician we send is licensed in accordance with Wallingford, PA requirements and carries full liability coverage.
Our technicians walk you through the actual numbers — repair cost versus remaining system life versus new equipment efficiency — before making a recommendation.
Plan members typically see fewer surprise breakdowns because small issues get caught during routine visits.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our service area, a quick call to +1-866-805-8548 will confirm it.
Yes, we run separate residential and commercial divisions, both fully licensed and equipped for their respective equipment.
Our technicians are trained across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, not limited to a single manufacturer.
Ask about financing during your in-home estimate to see what fits your situation.
Systems that run harder due to heavy year-round use may benefit from more frequent check-ins.
Check that the thermostat has power and the batteries aren't dead, and check your breaker panel for a tripped switch before calling.
We'd rather quote it honestly on the phone than have you feel ambushed by the bill.
More involved repairs, like a coil replacement or a refrigerant leak repair, take longer and the tech will give you a realistic estimate before starting.
Let dispatch know ahead of time if access will be handled differently than a standard homeowner visit.
Housing stock varies a lot across Wallingford — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
If you manage several units or a shared system across a Wallingford property, ask about setting up a standing service account so every request gets handled under one consistent agreement.
We accept standard payment methods for repairs and smaller jobs, and we'll always tell you upfront what a given service is likely to cost so there's no last-minute scramble to figure out payment. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Wallingford installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
We dispatch throughout Wallingford and the neighboring communities, keeping response times tight because our trucks stay close to home.
Coverage isn't limited to a single neighborhood or subdivision — our Wallingford dispatch zone stretches across the metro area and into the surrounding suburbs and unincorporated communities.
